ABOUT JESICA GRAFER
Although she technically started her career at an early age while cake decorating in 4H, Jesica Grafer gained invaluable experience while working as a cake decorator at the Martin's IGA Hometown Bake Shoppe for several years in Effingham, IL.
In 2015 Jesica moved to the Chicago land area and took her new surroundings by storm! She started at Sweet Ali's Gluten Free Bakery, has worked at several bakeries in the suburbs of Chicago, and has even worked at the esteemed Alliance Bakery.
Recognizing the need to round out her skills in the savory food world, Jesica went back to school and received her Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts with High Honors at Joliet Junior College. There she discovered her love of ice carving, sugar, chocolate, and all things edible! She started working for Nadeau's Ice Sculptures while in school, graduated in 2019, spent time lab assisting for the sugar and chocolate lab at JJC while furthering her studies, and has been growing Flours in her Garden ever since.
